CABINCYCLE
Chinese Garden MRT Station
CabinCycle is an industry project with Stellar Lifestyle I did during my final year in LASALLE with 4 other groupmates. The key idea of the project was to repurpose old MRT cabins to promote sustainability, hence we looked at using the cabins to create an alternate "one-stop station" near the MRT, allowing surrounding residents can carry out community recycling workshops. The driving concept behind CabinCycle is to create “A place that grows” — a community-centred space where sustainability, education, and family engagement intersect. The project was completed in Sketchup, AutoCAD & Photoshop, where I mainly worked on concept development, post-production edits, and 2D renders.
UPCYCLING I COMMUNITY I SUSTAINABILITY

CabinCycle within the Site
Seeing that Chinese Garden MRT station faces many surrounding developments but still lack interaction and engagement, the placement of the cabins aims to create another "train station" that grows alongside the residents.
Proposed programmes like a dessert shop and a community upcycling and recycling workshop from the packaging waste hence support the idea of "growing" together through sustainability, education, and family engagement.
